Image Licence Reference

Every image in the NOISK reference library is tagged with the licence under which it is made available. The licence is shown in the image detail panel (click the file name or image in the file explorer), is embedded in the file metadata, and is returned with every search result, where your AI assistant can read it.

It covers every licence in the library — CC0, Public Domain, PDM, Apache 2.0, MIT, Taiwan OGDL, CC BY 4.0, CC BY-SA 4.0 and CC BY-ND 4.0 — explaining in plain language what each permits, what it requires of you, and which ones restrict modification. It also includes a quick-reference table and guidance on rights that no licence waives, such as personality and privacy rights in images of identifiable people.

We keep a single authoritative copy so it cannot drift out of step with the library.
